Second grade is a very exciting year!  We have been hard at work acquiring new knowledge and skills that will get us ready to be successful third graders!  We have enjoyed many reading stories about friendship, courage, bravery, exploration, Christmas traditions, fables, fairy tales, and tall tales.  We have learned how to correctly write sentences and paragraphs.  In math, we have worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, time, money, place value, and measurement.
